Using the newest equipment for Professional Radon Testing, our equipment monitors radon using four highly accurate passive diffusion chambers. This allows us to give you an in-depth report with hourly readings. We recommend 48 hour testing for the most accurate snapshot of the homes radon levels. Our price is comparable to other companies using less effective equipment.

Radon levels in Oregon homes varies based on location. Some areas have higher concentrations than others, but it is recommended to test your home because levels can be higher or lower within a single neighborhood.
Radon can cause lung cancer and is thought to be responsible for over 13% of lung cancer deaths. Radon gas moves up through the soil and can be drawn into your home. Once inside, radon becomes trapped and can build up to unsafe levels. As you inhale radon gas, small particles get trapped in your lungs and release tiny bursts of energy (radiation) called alpha particles. This damages your lung tissue and can lead to lung cancer over time.
We utilize the standard of practice of American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI).
A home inspection from us will include (not limited to) a thorough visual examination of the following:
